Hi there,

This is Dr Basu, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.

I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.

This is likely severe fungal infection of the hands.

There can be eczema as well --often present together.

You should be on strong anti fungal medication like fluconazole orally 200 mg daily for 10 days.

Also a steroid ointment like Triamcinolone acetonide should be applied twice daily for 2 weeks.

Please avoid hard soap and detergent exposure.

Best wishes,

It was my pleasure to help you today.
