This is Dr. David

this is very common for scrotal fungal infections.

sometimes you need to use antifungal creams for 4-8 weeks to clear scrotal fungal infections.

you also have to keep the area clean and dry with powder

if you sweat a lot in the groin area, this can cause fungal infections to return.

there are stronger prescription antifungal powders like Nystatin powder your doctor can give you to keep the area dry and to also fight fungal infections.

you can also try over the counter Lotramin Powder to help fight the fungal infection.

and also try clotrimazole 1% antifungal cream as well

you have to use these treatments for 1 week after the fungal infection goes away to make sure all fungus has been killed.

most likely you didn't use the tioconazole long enough

let me know if you have other questions.
