Customer Question

Hello I have a small lump under my skin on the back of my lower thigh. It thought it was a bug bite, but it's a little hard, and itches from time to time like a mosquito bite. It's been there for over a month.

Hello

There are many different possibilities.

You need an exam to find out.

Possibilities

lipoma

sebaceous cyst

These are most like, the latter should be removed.

Other lesion...basal cell carcinoma for example.

Would be glad to look at a picture

OK, so that is an initial answer….

Looks like a possible basal cell.

These do not cause problems unless left for a very long time.

Should be removed.
