This is Dr. David

Framycetin sulfate (a derivative of Framycetin) is reported as an ingredient of Soframycine

this is a type of antibiotic ointment

your rash looks like an eczema type rash

it might respond to steroid creams like 1-2% hydrocortisone cream to see if it helps.

are you in India?

you might need to see a skin doctor to get a skin biopsy.

do you have sources of bug bites possible in your home?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Hi Doc,Yes I am in India. I don't know whether it could be a bug bite but I doubt it.
Expert:  Dr. David replied 1 year ago.

have you tried any steroid creams yet?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Ive just been using soframycine for a few days and had used an anti fungal cream one day. As of today the rash also seems to itch a bit.
Expert:  Dr. David replied 1 year ago.

I would try a steroid cream like 1% hydrocortisone for 1-2 weeks and see if that helps.
