Recurrent atopic dermatitis on my upper thigh near the groin

Customer Question

For some recurrent atopic dermatitis on my upper thigh near the groin area, am I better off using Elidel or 1% hyrdrocortisone, or, alternatively, trying something like Gold Bond Ultimate Eczema Relief? Thank you.

we do not treat on the site.

Gold bond is not useful from my experience.

1% hydrocortisone is good if the eczema is not severe

elidel is good.

However, your doctor has to say what is best for you based on exam.

OK, so that is an initial answer….

Previously my dermatologist had prescribed Protopic; when I requested a refill he sent an RX for Elidel. I have been using a moisturizer, and it does seem to be getting better, but considering adding or substituting Elidel or 1% hydrocortisone.I know difficult for you to response based on my question, but any additional info appreciated; i.e., Elidel versus hydrocortisone, and if use moisturizer which do I apply first? Thanks.
