I'm very concerned. I recently was looking at my penis

Customer Question

Hi I'm very concerned. I recently was looking at my penis and noticed a weird spot that kinda looked like irritation on my penis glan. I started freaking out and it's been ruining my days as I think about it. There is no discharge and there no pain or
burning sensation. There was one day where my penis is general had a burning feeling but I think it was because I was thinking about it too much. For the record I masturbate everyday maybe 2 times a day and I did have sex weeks prior to this. And the condom
broke. Please help

Not that I know of? I've had thyroid problems before though
Expert:  Dr. Pravin replied 1 year ago.

Have you applied anything on this before?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
A couple weeks ago I applied some type of cream that treats eczema. But other than that, no I haven't. But there was one night last week where I masturbated 4 times in one day without using lotion or lube. I don't know where this could come from. What does it look like to you?
Expert:  Dr. Pravin replied 1 year ago.

This is definitely not herpes , wart or genital STD .

This looks more like a non sexual condition which is mostly due to friction.

Frictional dermatitis causing such changes are very common.

Would you like some treatment advise for this condition?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Please I'd really appreciate that.
Expert:  Dr. Pravin replied 1 year ago.

Thank you .

You can use Cortaid cream on the are twice a day for 10 days .

you can mix Canestan on the area twice a day on the area along with this for 10 days.

You should also use Restoraderm Body lotion on the area that can help in lubricating the area and improving the barrier function. If you are masturbating so many times in the day you should definitely use some lubrication.

Please do get back to me in case of any further queries.

Do you Agree with what I have mentioned?

Would you like me to release the application for giving me a rating for my answer provided?

Should I stay away from masturbation right now?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
When I usually masturbate I usually spit on my hand and use that as lubricant
Expert:  Dr. Pravin replied 1 year ago.

No , there is no inflammation that I can see now.

You can continue with the masturbation with lubrication.

Spit may ok . But better to use some lubrication like lotion if you are getting this sort of inflammation.

Expert:  Dr. Pravin replied 1 year ago.

Thank you for the follow up images.

I did compare the latest images with the earlier images you had sent.

It looks pretty normal to me now.

Did you apply anything on the area?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No I haven't applied anything yet. I just wanted to see if anything would get worse. You don't notice any discoloration where I circled?
Expert:  Dr. Pravin replied 1 year ago.

That portion is a very normal part of the glans. It is not a sign of herpes , wart or any other STD.

Non sexual condition associated with a very mild grade of post inflammatory hypopigmentation. ( color loss one shade lighter)

It is very normal to see that on the glans of every male

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Do you know what could've caused this?
Expert:  Dr. Pravin replied 1 year ago.

Daily Masturbation twice a day over the years can cause this

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Hey I have a question. Noticed this around my genitals today. Doesn't hurt or anything. Help please

Expert:  Dr. Pravin replied 1 year ago.

What antibiotic creams do you have with you?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I don't have any. But I just took this photo right now. It looks like it scabbed over?
Expert:  Dr. Pravin replied 1 year ago.

It looks healed now.

Now you dont need to apply the creams.

Use a moisturiser.
