These answers are for informational purposes and do not replace a physician head-to-head visit. A patient-physician relationship is not established.
Where are the white spots? Is it possible to forward a photograph? Please let me know if you would like me to answer your question without the benefit of a photograph

If this is Tinea Versicolor as I suspect from your description, I would recommend Lamisil spray. Apply this twice a day. I would also advise you to use Selsun Blue or Head and Shoulders shampoo.

Tinea Versicolor is caused by a yeast like organism, very similar to a fungus. Please let me know if there are any questions.
