Hi. I will do my best to advise. However, please note that this does not substitute an in-person consultation with a doctor.

Is it itchy? Can you upload a picture?

Customer replied 251 days and 5 hours ago.

Thanks. The picture is consistent with intertrigo, usually caused by abreast infection.

The best way to treat intertrigo (rash in the body folds and scrotal area, usually caused by fungal infections) it is to apply clotrimazole cream along with cortisone cream twice a day for 3 weeks. These are available over the counter. In addition, using gentle unperfumed antiperspirants like aluminum hydroxide lotion once a day will help.

To reduce the risk of re-infection:
Dry the groin carefully after bathing using a separate towel.
Do not share towels, sheets or personal clothing.
Avoid wearing occlusive or synthetic clothing.
If you are overweight, try to lose weight to reduce chafing and sweating.

Hope that helps. Do get back if i can be of further assistance

You can carry out your activities as normal. Not a problem. But if you start treatment straight away, the burning should go away anyway, within a few days.
