Hi my husband has a melonoma on the side of his face next to his ear it is brown in colourbut there is a lump underneath it. he has been to the Doctor who made an appointment to see a Dermathologist but its not until 8/11/2013 do u think he has something to worry about. he also started to hear a drumming in his ear. A couple of weeks ago he had to stop driving as he got disorientated and didnt know where he was going. he is suffering with headaches a lot too.Thanking YouXXXXX XXXXX

However, please note that this does not substitute an in-person consultation with a doctor.There is no way try would have given an appointment in a year if it is a melanoma. If you are able to upload a picture I can give you a better idea but if it is indeed a lesion suspicious of a melanoma he should be seen within 2- weeks at the most.Please do not rate my answer year if you wish to continue the conversation. Hi thank u for that information, The Doctor told my Husband that he would'nt say it was or was not cancerous. what would u suggest he do

If the GP isn't sure you should ask the GP to make an urgent referral to the hospital. If that is not possible for any reason, I would suggest you see a dermatologist privately

I am afraid the picture is quite dark but I can only see a lump here and no pigmented lesion as such to suggest a melanoma. How long has the lump been there for? Is it rapidly growing?
