I have a rash in my arm pit. I have treated it with a cream that contains zinc oxide 40%? It helps the itching but hasn't,t cleared it up. I have had it 7 days. Any other over the counter medicine I could try

Your rash is suggestive of either fungal (tinea) or yeast (candidiasis) infection and both of these respond quite well to over the counter treatment.Here is what I would recommend as of now:1% Clotrimazole cream: Apply over the rash twice a day for 14 days. If the lesions don't look better in 7 days then mix 1% Cortizone cream with the Clotrimazole in a 1:1 ratio and apply.Tab Claritin 10 mg once or twice a day for 14 days depending on the intensity of the itching.Zeasorb-AF powder dusted over the area twice a day: noon and early evening. Continue for 4 weeks. Thereafter try and keep the affected areas as clean and dry as possible.All of the above are available over the counter.
