Hi,

Was the rash dry or wet to begin with?

Customer replied 295 days and 4 hours ago.

The rash is dry

Thank you for the information. A dry itchy rash on the buttocks or the groin region is most often because of a fungal or yeast infection. Cortizone cream suppresses the symptoms of the rash but since it does not kill the fungi or yeast the rash can persist and even come back worse when it is stopped. What you need to do is mix 1% Clotrimazole cream with the Cortizone cream in a 1:1 ratio and apply this on the rash - twice a day for 14 days. Complete the 14 days even if the rash clears earlier. Clotrimazole is available over the counter without a prescription. Besides this try and keep the affected area as cool and dry as possible.

Hope this helps, please feel free to ask if you have any queries.
