what can I do to get my 4a hair to grow
Optional Information: Person's Gender: Female Person's Age: 25
Hi,Do you have any bald patches?
No but I do have a very irritating mole right in the middle of my head
Okay. Have you been noticing increased hair loss over the last few months?
yes
Okay. How long in total have you noticed the increasing hair loss for? Do you feel like the central parting of your scalp is getting wider?
For the past 3 months i have been noticing it is falling out mainly in the very back. I do not wear my hair tight at all and I keep it moisturized daily. As for shampooing I do that once a week
Okay. Did you by any chance have any significant illness or mental/emotional stress in the last 6 months?
No
Thank you for the information. Typing out an answer. Be back with you in a few minutes.
From your history I don’t think you have any hair disease which is causing your hair loss, namely I have ruled out conditions like female androgenetic alopecia, telogen effluvium and alopecia areata. Hair can shed for a few months without any cause and it is normal to lose upto 100 hair a day. They will all grow back. All I would suggest doing is to take 5 mg of Biotin everyday for about 3 months. This is a vitamin which helps hair regrowth and is available over the counter without a prescription.Hope this information is useful, please feel free to ask if you have any queries. Please remember to only rate my answer when you are satisfied.
