how do you tell the difference between a chancre from syphillis or skin cancer
Optional Information: Person's Gender: Male Person's Age: 21 Already Tried: ive looked at it, its been a red bump for a couple of weeks now. during the last week a dark almost black area occured in the middle of the bump, today it broke open and bled for a bit then stopped. I had just assumed that the button on my jeans was causing it.
hellothanks for using justanswer I would be pleased to answer your question . What is the site of the bump?Did you get any blood tests done?
The site is about halfway between my penis and bellyI have never had anything like this before, i just assumed it was a normal irritated mark until I typed red sore and found pictures that look like it. both skin cancer and syphillis look like it to me, and because I work long hours in the sun and went tanning this winter I probley have equal chances of having either one.
Do you have history of recent sexual exposure ?Do you have history of sexual exposure with a known partner? The area that you have mentioned is normally covered during your long hours of work in the sun?Let me inform you that one event of tanning does not lead to cancer immediately .
ok well that area is covered during the long hours. and i think I tanned every couple days for a week or two (i was trying to make sure I didnt burn when i went on a dominican vacation)I have had sexual exposure with my girlfriend, the last time was about mid april when univercity ended and we had to go back to our respective homes. I did not notice any sores on her though
also we were both virgins up until this year and have been sexually active only with eachother for the past few months
thanks for the history . from the history only it doesnt look like either syphilis or skin cancer . It may be a furuncle or infection of the hair fillicles which is more common in that site . You can apply an antibiotic cream on that area prescribed to you from your dermatologist . You can visit the dermatologist to examine the area and also from the lymph nodes. Do you accept my thoughts on your condition?Do consider a positive feedback as a credit to my work
