Hello I have a blood freckle, maybe a cherry anigomas on my lower lip,my lips are very chapped so the blood freckle started bleeding profusely , I was able to make it stop but it happened twice yesterday. Is this something I can treat myself at home or should I be asking the doctor to take a closer look at it. It doesn't seem like a big deal but doesn't hurt to ask
Optional Information: Gender: Female Age: 42 Already Tried: just stopped the bleeding and lots of moisturizer
Ok. as long as the angioma has not changed recently (apart from bleeding due to chapped lips), you could just apply lip salve to treat the chapped lips and see for a week or two, if the angioma settles down and stops bleeding. However if it has increased in size recently or if it keeps bleeding, then you would be better off asking a dermatologist to have a look. Hope that helps. Best wishes
