I started getting small white dots on the palms of my hand. After it pulls apart it causes a separation of the skin and redness where the skin pulled apart.

Would you be able to forward a photograph? Does this itch? Do you have a problem on your feet too? Do you have a history of any skin problem? FAmily history? Occupation? Any medical problems?

Customer:

No it does not itch. My feet have none of these symptoms. I have no history of skin problems. I'm retired but do take medication for cholesterol- stent implant. These medication I have been taking for years. Although recently I been taking some over the counter tablet for hair growth called Nu Hair a DHT blocker but the label does not mention skin problems. I did notice the problem after putting down Southern Pine straw but can't be sure.

dermdoc19 :

Would you be able to send a photograph? Do these areas have fluid in them?

Customer:

i just sent it. my email [email protected]

dermdoc19 :

This appears to be a hand dermatitis. It should respond to Maximum Strength Cortaid ointment twice a day and at night put saran wrap around your hands. I would also be sure to wash with Cerave cleanser or Cetaphil Restoraderm cleanser and I would follow hand washing with Cetaphil Therapeutic Hand Cream or Cutemol hand cream.
