Customer Question

I have a red inflamed rash around both sides of my nose. the skin gets slightly crusty and almost like little spots. The docter gave me a cortizone cream to use which takes away the red inflamed stingy sensation i have. I stopped putting the cream on for 1 day and woke up the next morning with my skin completely bright red and very inflammed and burning. Iv had this problem for over a year now, never had it before. Is this hormonal or eczema or psorosasis?? I'm fed up with it and it looks terrible and I can't stand to go out in public with all this inflammed redness. What can i do for this to completely heal?? Kind regards Genine

The most common cause is seborrheic dermatitis.Steroids generally aggravate or produce rapid recurrences when applied on the nasolabial region.Would suggest Elidel cream or pimecrolimus cream twice daily for a month along with nutraderm cream twice daily.Oral zinc 50mg daily may be supplemented. The other options include topical lithium succinate cream such as Evolith Ds cream twice daily.Use soap free cleansers only.Thanks.Queries welcome.
