Recurring dry skin patch on penis. Has peeled, looked fine,

Resolved Question:

Recurring dry skin patch on penis. Has peeled, looked fine, and re-pealed about every other day over the last 3 weeks. Only red the first two days this whole thing started. Went and got tested for herpes. Results are negative. No significant symptoms otherwise. Slightly itches, skin is not red underneath, normal flesh colored, not raised, only things that have changed recently are laundry detergent. No other reactions anywhere on the body. Size of dry area is less than a dime, more like the nail on a pinky finger. Much smaller patch about 1/4" away from main site. Same symptoms. Starting to get concerned.

The most common cause is psoriasis of the glans.Would suggest to avoid soaps, use nutraderm cream by day , 1% hydrocortisone cream by night daily for 10 days and on alternate day for 10 days.Thanks.Queries welcome.
