I have noticed recently red spots on top of my head (I am bald)

Customer Question

I have noticed recently red spots on top of my head (I am bald) and one spot which looks like normal skin or very slightly pink and crusty. Precancerous or cancerous? If spots on my head and/or face are treated by cryo techniques does it leave scabs or scars?

Thanks for your question

New spots on your head may or may not be precancerous or even cancerous, since they are new, they should be evaluated by a dermatologist to see if a biopsy is warranted. Usually if there is any question, a biopsy will provide the defintive diagnosis
