I bit my cheek and a month ago I developed a pain there. I went to the dentist one month ago who said that bite caused trauma of the place and therefore the swelling. The swelling went down a bit, but I still have such as hardening over the bite (and a bite mark, such as a cut cheek). I suffer from clenching and grind my teeth (but do not use my night guard). "Travelling" with my tongue, I discovered something that feels like a cut behind my molar tooth in the same side of the mouth. I have three questions: 1. is this hadening normal as a result of ongoing trauma? i understand that the cheek is not the common place for oral cancer. is this correct? 2. is the "cut" i feel with my toungue may be a result of the same problem - or should I be worried about it? 3. I also feel uncomfortable in the ear and in the neck. what can be the reason for that? Thanks
