my to tongue bleeds when i eat.
JA: Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
Customer: no but i did start a new pill 2 monthes ago i'ts called mylan-metformin
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: he has high blood pressure and diet betic
JA: When was last time you had a check up? Is there a history of high blood pressure in your family?
Customer: 2mouths ago and he has a appointment with doctor on dec.19 and yes the family has high pressure

there is no cuts after he eats his tongue goes red then blood starts comeing out of the porse on his tongue

THank you for the information.I got delayed due to an urgent emergency at the hospital.It appears that he probably has had a tongue bite/injury either to his gums or the tongue.Metformin does not cause any bleeding of the mouth/tongue/gums.A check up by a ENT/Oral surgeon will help.The conditions in which tongue or gum bleeds occur while eating would include a Thermal tongue burn ,a fractured jaw or other similar trauma injuries,Thallaessimia(a genetic blood disorder) or other bleeding disorders,a drug reaction,anaphylaxis or severe allergic reaction can also cause spontaneous bleeding and sore tongue.
