A good question.
It's in a word - tough to do!
I'd allow time to help bring back normalcy - or at least time will be needed in part.
Also, you may find some success using gauze. Such as 2x2 inch gauze and even cotton tips - and rubbing them semi-abrasively against the tissue of the tongue and roof of your mouth. Will this immediately remove the glue? NO! But, it will tend to assist to break it down and much quicker. I'd do this a couple times a day, and for several days. And, in a couple three days or so, you will notice that the water resistant glue will begin to erode and likely in less than a week - be finally GONE!!! I hope this helps you Ma'am.
Please let me know if I can assist you further - OK?
