Hello,

Thanks this photo is much better.

Have you noticed this bump recently? Any symptoms associated with it like pain?

Regards,

Dr. Behere

I just noticed it today. No pain associated with it. However, I take grasax (allergy vaccination pills) which i put under the tongue every morning. Could it be reaction to this? Never noticed it before.

Though I am worried it can be due to having oral sex. Could it be some kind of STD?
Expert:  Dr. Behere replied 3 months ago.

Hello,

No, it is not STD, dont worry about that at all. At first i thought it was a mucocele (a harmless welling caused by trauma to a salivary duct in that area), but now im more convinced that it is just normal tissue.

That area is called the floor of the mouth and is well known to have such an appearance.
