My bottom teeth in between are starting to decay a little bit, and I can see one of my teeth are slightly decaying. It's not so severe that a lot of my tooth is missing, just 1 part of it on the side. I don't have any insurance what should I do? How much would it cost to get this fixed?I am rinsing my mouth out everytime I eat something to slow it down. Is this helping it at all?

Welcome to Justanswer.I will do my best to answer your question.I am not a great typist,be patient and feel free to ask if anything is unclear.Fillings for teeth generally are not expensive..and the cost is dettermined by how many of the surfaces of the tooth need to be filled and what material is used for filling them. For the front teeth we like to use a tooth colored composite material that is the same color as the tooth.Depending on what area of the country you are in the prices may vary. For a one surface composite filling..it may cost $70..a two surface $115 and a three surface $150 to give you some ballpark numbers. If it is your first time in the office ..you may be expected to pay for an exam and xrays which may cost $120.You may be lucky and find that you do not have decay at all and may just be a stain.Either way..getting a checkup is not expensive and if all you need is a couple of fillings and a cleaning..insurance may not even be necessary. If you have any further questions please ask.
