Great question, let me help you.
I could really use the help, my upper jaw is killing me and its not stopping
This is an indication of a tooth infection
The infection is what is causing the severe pain, especially when lying down
You need to be on antibiotics to calm down this infection
Then the tooth involved with the infection needs to be treated
Likely with a root canal
I thought thats what it might be. But earlier in the day when i was up and walking around the pain went away. Would that still be an infection?
yes, it feels better when you are upright
and worse when you lie down
this is a sign of infection
Is there anything i can do right now to help me sleep?
Do you have any antibiotics?
I might, i would have to check. If i don't is there anything else i can do or buy at CVS?
Ibuprofen is going to be your best medicine
It helps with inflammation inside the tooth
You may want to take Tylenol PM to help you sleep
In the AM, call your dentist for an antibiotic prescription and start that ASAP
This is the best treatment you can do
I tried taking advil PM and the pain is just to much. Thank you very much for all your help.
