Thanks for using ' Just Answer ' and i would be glad to assist you.
In case there is no Underline Medical Problem, the Bleeding of the gums in the Healthy Individual could be Attributed to the Inflamed Gingival Tissue i.e Gingivitis or Periodontitis. The bleeding could be localized or generalized. In this Situation, Professional Cleaning ( Scaling ) reduces the Bleeding tremendously.Another Common reason is Vitamin C Deficiency in which the gums are soft and spongy and intake of the Supplements usually subsides the Bleeding.
For the time being, i would suggest you to Keep Optimum Oral Hygiene, Use of Medicated Mouth Rinse such as Chlorhexidine and Application of Gum Paint contains astringent such as Tannic Acid which have a very good effect on reducing Bleeding. Also, you could go in for Vitamin C Supplement in the form of Mouth Dissolving Tablets 500 mg twice daily for 10 days.In addition to Gum Paint, you could go in for Oral Metronidazole Gel alongwith the Combination of Chlorhexidine ( 0.12% ). Avoid Smoking.
In case of Heavy Bleeding, i would suggest you to Consult your Dentist at the Earliest.
