I will ask you once again. why do I have a tooth that seems to bother me somtimes and not others. It usually happens after I have slept, but I do have a night guard. I will pay for your response
Hi! Thanks for posting a question on justanswer.com. You may have a cavity there. I would recommend that you go in for a check up and have them take x-rays to confirm if you have any cavities. Also, you may be feeling sensitivity. When you go for a check up the dentist will recommend a cleaning. I would highly recommend that you get a cleaning. This insures that you gums are not shrinking away from your teeth. If they do shrink then a part of your tooth that is very sensitive gets exposed and will cause alot of discomfort. I hope this helps!!!
the tooth has been capped. I don,t think there,s any cavity. It,s just when I press on it sometimes it hurts
The cap may need to get adjusted. Does it feel like you bite first on that side of your mouth? If so then the bite may be off and simply needs to get adjusted. Another thing that you may have to consider is the tooth my be cracked. Pain upon release from biting is a symptom. I would still highly recommend to go in and get an extra of that tooth. Mention to the dentist "cracked tooth syndrome" so that he/she doesn't overlook that possibility.
If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
