No, shingles ( Herpes Zoster) would be very unlikely to affect the inside of the mouth, the tongue or the inside of the throat.

It most commonly presents as a rash, on the face, torso or arms, and is characteristically restricted to one half of the body. It can also affect the eyes and the ears.
