Hello,

North Caroliina's sentencing structure is elaborate because there are levels involved, and what level you are would determine whether you could avoid jail or not. How many prior convictions do you have?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
DWI about maybe 3 1/2, 4 years ago

It may even be further than that, I have been driing with my license for almost three years and I had to deal with license revoked for one year

Thank you. I've looked over your sentencing guidelines, and they are unusual, very elaborate, and different from what I'm accustomed to work with. Frankly, I don't feel confident that I will come up with an accurate answer. I think it's best that I opt out and hopefully a North Carolina attorney who is accustomed to your sentencing structure can respond to this question.

Please do not rate me, as I have not provided you with an answer. This question will be open to all experts and you will receive an email when someone else replies.
