My name is ***** ***** I am an experienced NYS criminal lawyer.
Yes, parole can violate you but they generally would give some deference to the opinion of your supervising parole officer.
In my experience, parole frequently will wait to see if and how the case will go forward before taking action. If this is a felony charge, and the state indicts, however, in my experience, Parole will violate at that time.
