filed an expunction case pro se in Nueces County... all the filings have been done and accepted by the court... petition, order setting hearing date... served all the entities listed by certified, registered mail in regards ***** ***** and petition filing for expunction... the court set a hearing date... we showed up... they cancelled hearing saying we didn't serve entities correctly.... Court says when we re-serve entities its ready to set final hearing... at a loss as to how to serve entities properly .... I am in nueces county

attached is the list of entities that were served..... and the Certificate of Service (sample attached) for each entity was filed with District Clerk once we received postcard notification back from USPS that it was successfully delivered by registered, certified mail.. Court is saying entity served incorrectly!

When serving the various agencies a motion for expunction in Texas, you need to make personal service using a process server and serve the agency or you can pay the clerk to have the agencies served, not certified mail. This needs personal service.
