I am sorry to hear about your son's unfortunate situation.

Alex J. Esq. :

Can you please tell me if your son was tried in federal or state court?

Customer:

He was tried in federal court in florida.

Alex J. Esq. :

Thank you for that information.

Alex J. Esq. :

Unfortunately, under the federal law, your son will not be eligible for an early release based on "good behavior" until he serves at least 85% of his original sentence. There are no exceptions under the federal law.
