Welcome to JustAnswer.

What is a class c felony in Hawaii?

In Hawaii felonies are divided into three categories. Class A, Class B, and Class C. Class A felonies are the most serious and Class C are the least serious felonies. Class C felonies carry a maximum of five years imprisonment, however, if the person does not have a prior criminal record, such a crime would normally result in probation.

If charged, your attorney may also be able to negotiate a plea for a "deferred acceptance" of your plea which would result in probation but would avoid a felony conviction.
