A watch has been stolen / swiped. What is the procedure to report it to police. Do not have proof of purchase/receipt hence cant prove the watch existed.

Although having a receipt would be beneficial it is not required to make a police report. Any documentation of the watch such as photographs would also be helpful but not required.

You can either call the police department and they should send a patrol officer to you to take the report or you can go to the police station to make the report.
