If you are selected for Jury Duty and during voir dire you are asked if you have ever been convicted of a crime, how do you answer the question if the conviction was subsequently Dismissed?

AttyCBradford :

If you want to not be on the jury you stay i was convicted and when they ask what for you can say it was dismissed or disclose was it was for.

AttyCBradford :

When you say dismissed, if mean that you were never convicted then you can state no you were never convicted but you were arrested

AttyCBradford :

If you had it expunged just explain that

AttyCBradford :
Customer:

I forgot to mention it was a misdemeanor.

AttyCBradford :

then you probably don't have to disclose unlss you were convicted

Customer:

I was convicted of a misdemeanor, which was dismissed after I served a probation.
