if i help the police out in a drug bust to get my self out of trouble is it possible to have an attorney present during the police work and talk? or will they just throw me in jail and not talk to me because i asked for an atorney?
It is advisable to have an attorney present and to let them negotiate your deal. In both private practice and on here we have seen numerous people try to handle it themselves and the police just keep asking for more and never live up to their end of the deal. An attorney can prevent that.
