if a juvenile has been charged as a juvenile sex offender and has served his time but still must register for 10 yr's is he obligated on a job application to state this?he is 22 now
Hello, I would be glad to answer your question for you.
The answer he would be obligated to put on the form depends on the question asked If they asked was he convicted of a felony, the answer would be no (unless he was charged with an adult). If the question asks whether he is on the sex offender registry the answer would have to be yes. It is a sick system, but thats the way it happens. Juveniles are still "on the hook" when they are required to register, even if it was only a juvenile offense and not an adult crime.
