I transfered my probation from Texas to Washington. I have less than 2 years left on a 5 year sentence. II do not owe money to either state. I have had no violations of any kind. Is it possible for me to get released early without making a court appearance in Texas?

Not officially. Some judges will allow you to hire a lawyer and present the motion and then if the DA agrees will just sign off on the order without the necessity for an appearance but that scenario is rare for a number of reasons. Most judges will require you to appear at a final hearing. If you would like any additional information or have more questions please don’t hesitate to ask but please do so my clicking on the Reply to Expert tab.We work for Positive Ratings, please click on one of the top three ratings or one of the Smile Faces, as this would be appreciated.
