ANSWER: I am sure sorry for your predicament. Here is how this works. You are free to write such a letter, but it will be of no particularly substantive help. In other words, with such an Order in place, the Court, not the Parole Officer, has the jurisdiction and authority to. So, the botXXXXX XXXXXne is that writing such a letter will do no particular harm, but neither will it by any means accomplish the objective of making the Order disappear, I regret to say.
