Good afternoon,

I'm sorry to hear of your dilemma.

The two easiest ways to find out whether a criminal complaint has been filed is to check with either the Prosecutor's office or the court.

They will be able to tell you for sure.

I wish you the best in 2011.

Generally how long after a complaint is filed that charges might be issued
Expert:  LawTalk replied 5 years ago.
Good afternoon,

The Complaint incorporates the charges against you. Generally, after the complaint is filed you will be subpoenaed to court for the first hearing/arraignment or, if the court issues an arrest warrant, you will be arrested and brought before the court.

I wish you well.
