currently 23....been going on for about 9 months
Then there is nothing you can do. Given her age, she may consider visiting the local District Attorney with proof of the cyber stalking. Many DA offices now are starting task forces related to cyber stalking. They will likely be able to take a look at what is going on an initiate an investigation that may lead to criminal charges. It is likely that in concert with their actions, they will suggest that she require a protective order restraining this person from contacting her.
is this type of situation pretty low priority for a DA's office....the local police didn't seem to concerned....
It depends on what is happening with the cyberstalking. Where these task forces have been formed they take this conduct VERY seriously. do I need to maybe get her computer to a "geek squad" type person to veryify if he's the one involved?..
It would be a very good idea to have a forensic analysis done on the computer by a "geek squad" or computer person to determine if there is evidence that can be tied to this person.
