you would have to have possession of the guns to be charged. Possession means that you exercised dominion over them; in other words, you would have to know where they were and to be able to exercise control over them. This would have to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. If the weapons were next door under a different roof, you would ordinarily be ok.

if you are on searchable probation, the PO would ordinarily have the right to search your place of residence without a warrant. I am not there to examine the residential layout, but I would be very skeptical of any search of your parent's structure.
