The statute of limitations for bigamy is 3 years in OK. You can see the charge here, its title 21, section 881

Does that 3 years count if a person has been living outside the US (been away 8 years).
will not matter...the prosecutor can file the charges and a warrant to toll the statute..if this did not happen and 3 years have passed, its too late.
