my son has had substance abuse problems which has led to a number of small legal problems, which has led him to living on the streets. His last offense was a misdemeanor Felony,which he did time for and was given probation. He did not follow through and has been sentanced to jail and prision time Is there any recourse?

if he violated his probation and it was terminated by the judge because of the violations, the judge can and apparently has imposed the suspended sentence. he can try to file a sentence modification - but i doubt it would be granted.
