It may not, but it probably will. Misdemeanor convictions of all kinds are considered public records. As a result, they can be discovered by companies that specialize in searching public records.

Employers often hire these search companies to perform background checks. Most of these companies will presumably be able to discover the conviction record. The exception would be if the record was expunged or otherwise not recorded for another reason.
