Every jail facility has the authority to make and enforce its own rules. However, most jails allow visitation with adults and children unless the inmate is a convicted child predator/molester or there is some restraining or protective order against the inmate with regard to the child.

Is the Greenwood County Jail bound by Kansas law to prohibit the visitation of minor children to their immediate family members?
Expert:  Roger replied 8 years ago.
I can't find any information online with regard to this county jail. Your best bet is to find out whether the jail has any written visitation policies and ask for a copy.
