harrassment by debt collectors

I am on social security and I have been levied several times by a certain debt collector that also threatened to take my personal things on many occassions,they had DMV take the title to my car, I had been going through so much including waiting to die, that it sent me over the edge in a failed suicide attempt, they have been constantly harrassing me for 3 years and I would like to file suit. what do I do

A bankruptcy would be a good idea. That will get rid of the debts and prevent the collection calls.
