The Statute of Limitations in Georgia provides that a prosecution for Armed Robbery must be commenced within 7 years after the commission of the crime. This is found in the Official Code of Georgia Annotated (O.C.G.A.) § 17-3-1(c)

Note however that under O.C.G.A. § 17-3-1(c.1) (1) a prosecution for Armed Robbery can be commenced at any time if DNA evidence is used to establish the identity of the accused.
