When you say "everything points to my innocence" what does that mean, exactly? Were you ever exonerated of the crime?
Please provide the additional information, so I may better assist you
Thanks ~ M
This is not something you are going to be able to successfully handle on your own. I suggest that you contact your local ACLU who can provide you with the legal expertise that you will need, because first you will have to file for a Pardon or Executive Clemency and you want this based on the error of the court.
You also can try to contact someone at the Innocence Project - information HERE. While they usually handle death row matters - and are very busy with get people exonerated they would be worth speaking with because they, too, can direct you to the proper legal counsel who can review your case and documents.
Without a Pardon/Executive Clemency you will not be able to be succesful in any suit to get reparations for your time served, however unjust.
Best of success to you in this matter,
