Customer Question

A friend recently tried shipping me a copy of the Quran from the UK to the US, but it was denied by US Customs. Is this legal? I can find no inherent danger in shipping a religious book or any justifiable reason the US Customs would have to deny the book's entry, especially when you can purchase the Quran right here in the US.

I am sorry to hear this.

Did customs state any reason why it would not allow entry to the book?
