Customer Question

I have a vehicle contract of sale, proof of insurance and copies from my back of checks given to the owner where I made my payments. I also have receipts from them. The bank where they have the loan repossessed the vehicle. Can I sue this person for my money since they were not making the payments I gave them and we're just keeping the money?

This is attorney Bill here answering your question.

Your question is still a little vague, could you please give me some addition information :

How much money is owed to you or on the vehicle ?

Who was making the payments to the bank ?

What agreement/contract did you have for the repayment of the car finance ?
